By using our website, contacting us, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or our services.
1. About our services
Ink & Thanks helps professionals send personalized handwritten thank-you, birthday, holiday, closing, referral, and related appreciation cards. We prepare and mail cards on your behalf based on the information and instructions you provide.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate contact and order information. You are responsible for information you submit, including recipient lists and message content.
3. Orders and pricing
- Prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise.
- Package and per-card prices, designs, and availability may change. We confirm order details before fulfillment.
- Quotes for one-time campaigns are based on list size and requirements.
- Payment is due as agreed at order confirmation. Orders may be delayed or cancelled if payment is not received.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree that:
- You have the right to provide recipient names and addresses for mailing
- Message content you approve does not infringe others' rights or violate law
- You will not use our services for unlawful, harassing, deceptive, or harmful purposes
We may refuse or cancel an order that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or applicable law.
5. Fulfillment and delivery
- We typically prepare and dispatch orders within the timeframe discussed at confirmation (often about 1-3 business days for preparation, unless otherwise agreed).
- Domestic delivery via Canada Post typically takes additional business days and may vary due to weekends, holidays, weather, peak seasons, or carrier issues.
- Delivery timelines are estimates only. Once a package is handed to the carrier, Ink & Thanks is not responsible for carrier delays, loss, or damage beyond our reasonable control. We will help you with reasonable tracking or re-send options where available.
6. Intellectual property
Website content, branding, logos, and materials are owned by Ink & Thanks or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without permission, except for normal browsing and sharing links to our site.
Card designs and handwriting prepared for your order are provided for your client-appreciation use as agreed. You remain responsible for the accuracy of names, addresses, and approved wording.
7. Disclaimer
The website and services are provided on an "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted website access or that digital communications will always be error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ink & Thanks is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, arising from use of the site or services. Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order, except where liability cannot be limited by law.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ink & Thanks from claims arising from recipient data you provide, message content you approve, or your misuse of the services, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes to active orders will be communicated as needed.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada. Courts in Alberta will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived.
